The Union League Civic & Arts Foundation supports young artists and encourages civic responsibility initiatives in the Chicago metropolitan community. In 1949, members from the civic minded organization, the Union League Club of Chicago founded Civic & Arts as a separate, not-for-profit organization.
Our mission is to develop and promote programs that support education, civic responsibility, and the arts for children and young adults in the Chicago Metropolitan area. Our emphasis is on programs that the Foundation initiates, develops, and funds. Our programs target financial need and merit.
Civic & Arts currently host arts competitions (click here to access, learn more, and apply) for children and young adults. We also offer selected civic programs for children, educators, and families in the area of civic responsibility.
